Steffi Weismann
Steffi Weismann connects bodies, things, and sounds in space. In recent years, the transfer of tactile experiences into sonic processes has played a central role in her work. Her works often incorporate interactive elements and combine unamplified and microphonized sounds in site-specific spatial settings.

Alongside her international solo performances, she is a member of the Ensemble Maulwerker and collaborates within the context of Errant Sound - Projektraum für Klangkunst. She has conducted numerous workshops with children and young people on sound experiments involving objects, including as part of the Project Fund for Cultural Education and with Klangradar/Netzwerk Junge Ohren.
