Jenny Michel is a German artist who was born in 1975 in Worms. She studied Communication Design and Fine Arts at the Kassel University of Arts, followed by a postgraduate degree at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Else-Heiliger-Fonds Scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation and the HAP-Grieshaber Prize from the VG Bild-Kunst. Her works, which are conceptual and sensual, have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in various museums and galleries in Germany and Austria. She currently lives and works in Berlin.
