Steffi Weismann connects bodies, things, and sounds in space. In recent years, the transfer of tactile experiences into sonic processes has played a central role in her work. Her works often incorporate interactive elements and combine unamplified and microphonized sounds in site-specific spatial settings.
Steffi Weismann lives and works as a freelance artist in Berlin, operating at the intersection of visual art and music. Alongside her international solo performances, she is a member of the Ensemble Maulwerker and collaborates within the context of Errant Sound - Projektraum für Klangkunst.
