A four-part canon of "City of Butter"("Stadt aus Butter"), which brings Wurm's word-sculpture out of the space of the imagination and into acoustic space.

About the event
Based on Erwin Wurm's text, the musician Rainer Kirchmann composes the four-part canon "Stadt aus Butter" (City of Butter) and brings the word sculpture out of the space of the imagination into acoustic space.
Literature, music and sculpture merge.
The result is an art experience that takes a word sculpture on paper to a new level through the unifying effect of music.
Never before has one of Erwin Wurm's word sculptures become music. The papier & klang Festival would like to create this unique sound sculpture together with the Choir "Chor der Kulturen der Welt" and present it during the grand opening event on 06.07.2023 in the atrium of the Willy Brandt Haus.
