Kris Heide lives and works in Berlin. She studied art history, German literature and classical archaeology at the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn. She also studied at the Drawing Institute Eberhard-Karls-University in Tuebingen. Among others, she had a doctoral scholarship according to the Graduierten-Foerderungsgesetzt NRW, the Freundeskreis Paul Goesch-Wanderpreis and the Deutsche Fotobuchpreis 19/20 in silver in the category: conceptual-artistic, these she has presented in different exhibition venues such as Stuttgart, Essen, Cologne, Hong Kong, etc.
