Astrid Busch
She deals with the different aspects of photography.
She works with found and self-generated images, which she collects, photographs and transforms. She condenses materials into spatial image arrangements, from which, with the inclusion of complex lighting situations, photographs are created that are translated into space on various image carriers.
The sculptural process of creation in the studio is first digitized and then translated back into the spatial as an object.

Biography
Astrid Busch was born in Krefeld in 1968 and lives and works in Berlin.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg and at the Berlin-Weissensee School of Art with Katharina Grosse.
Among several scholarships and grants one can mention the working scholarship Neustart Kultur" of the Stiftung Kunstfonds in Bonn last year or the Paper Art Award (Silver) of the Haus des Papiers in Berlin 2021.
Solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including I remember birds and stones, Hay Art Cultural Center, Yerevan - Armenia (2022) or Die Grosse, Kunstpalast, Duesseldorf, Germany (2022)."
